お洒落をして、コンピューターやスマホを器用に操り、コンクリートの上を颯爽と移動する。普通に生活ができることのありがたさ、日常が平穏に過ぎることの素晴らしさ、しかしそれに気づくときは自分が災害に遭遇したとき。そのことを痛感させられるその前に考えること。変化に満ちた地球に暮らす私たちが天変地異を大なり小なりやり過ごすためには、防災を暮らしの一部に考えないと成り立たない。とはいえ日常生活では役に立たない防災用品。私たちはこの防災用品の存在に着目し、日常生活でのあり方について、もっと前向きにとらえることはできないか、使いやすくできないか、と考えた。展覧会という形をとることで、災害との接し方を考える場を提供したい。

2017年からは、デザイナーのテーマは「土のう」、学生にはもう少し範囲を広げたテーマとして「都市の防災」を設定した。２つのプロジェクトの成果は渋谷区（旧渋谷区役所）や港区（みなとパーク芝浦）、江東区（木場公園）などで展覧会を開催し、地域の人々に災害を考えるきっかけづくりに貢献した。2017年からは、芝浦工業大学地域思考活動（COC）の補助金を得て活動。「都心の災害を考えるワークショップ実施と展覧会の開催」学生発表会2019年金賞 2020年銀賞

Dressing up, skillfully navigating our computers and smartphones, and briskly walking across the concrete. We often take the blessing of a normal life and the beauty of peaceful days for granted, only realizing their true value when a disaster strikes. But we must think about this before we are painfully reminded of it. To survive natural disasters, big and small, on our ever-changing planet, disaster preparedness must become an integral part of our daily lives. Yet, disaster prevention supplies are often useless in our day-to-day routines. We focused on the presence of these supplies and asked ourselves: can we view them more positively and make them easier to use in our everyday lives? Through the format of an exhibition, we aim to provide a space to rethink how we engage with disasters.

Since 2017, the theme for the designers was "sandbags". For the students, the theme was a little broader: "Urban Disaster Prevention." The results of the two projects were exhibited in Shibuya Ward (former Shibuya Ward Office), Minato Ward (Minato Park Shibaura), Koto Ward (Kiba Park), and other places, contributing to making local people think about disasters. since 2017.
